M.A. Economics Sustainable Entrepreneurship

Program Outline

The MA in Economics program started in the year 2019-20. Department offers skill based course with strong research orientation. Students learn employment skills of economics through research internship and courses of applied statistics, mathematics and econometrics. Students can opt for discipline specific elective subjects, open elective subjects from different institutes of the University. In addition, this program is uniquely designed to increase the employability and to prepare students to work in a Multi-disciplinary work environment. The program offers Major degree in Economics and is open to students opting for minor specializations as per their interests. Pedagogies concentrating on student’s active participation are extensively used in the teaching-learning process.

Eligibility and Fees Structure

  • Maharashtra State Candidate.
  • (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and/or born in Maharashtra state.

    (ii) Passed any graduate examination or its equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in MGMU-CET.

  • All India Candidates
  • (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
